The Hobart Winery and Lunch Helicopter Tour is an all-encompassing scenic experience which combines decadence and excitement. As you arrive at the Cambridge Aerodrome, a helicopter will escort you over the eastern shore of the Derwent River. From here, you’ll have exceptional views of Hobart City and Mount Wellington. This part of the flight is particularly stunning during the winter as snow covers the 1,300 metre tall mountain.
Heading further toward the northern suburbs of the city, the helicopter will have great views of the Museum of Old and New Art at Berriedale. Further to this, you will begin your approach to the historically rich Coal River Valley, which was one of the first areas used by the European Settlers in the early 19th century.
Your private helicopter will then land at the Frogmore Creek Winery where you will enjoy a 2-course lunch with a glass of wine. During the lunch, you will experience the flavours of the incredible local produce of the south Tasmania region and very own quality wines. Following lunch, you will be transferred to your hotel.
