Refund Policy

For Consumers:

An Airshare gift you send can be cancelled for a full refund within 72 hours of purchase unless any amount of the Airshare gift has already been redeemed. To cancel an Airshare gift, please send a cancellation request to support@getairshare.com

Please note: Airshare will notify the gift recipient that the Airshare gift has been cancelled, and the Airshare gift will be removed from the recipient’s My Airshare wallet. If you do want to cancel your Airshare gift, it is a best practice for you to notify your recipient as to the reason for the cancellation.

If an Airshare gift recipient is not an Airshare user and does not register, set up an email address, mobile number or satisfy other necessary registration requirements to accept the Airshare gift within 30 days, the transaction will be canceled, and your purchase amount will be refunded to the original funding source.

For Merchants:

Once the Airshare gift is redeemed by the Merchant, Airshare will not refund that amount to the Merchant or to the Giftee as Airshare will have already provided payment to the Merchant. Any disputes that arise between the Giftee and the Merchant after the Airshare gift redemption are the responsibility of the Merchant to solve with the Giftee in accordance with the Merchant’s refund policy.

Airshare will, however, refund the Airshare redemption fee for any refunds of goods or services purchased with the Airshare gift.

When you refund a purchase made with an Airshare please send us an email to support@airshare.com with the following information:

  • Your business name & Airshare merchant ID
  • The date of the Airshare redemption
  • The amount of the Airshare redemption
  • The date of your refund to the customer
  • A short explanation as to why you refunded the customer

With this information we will provide a refund of the Airshare redemption fee via an ACH electronic payment.
